MADRID 2025: OOM Final Results:
Well, it has come and gone, and what a fantastic week we all had; friendships made and memories which will last for a lifetime.
BOYS:
1st: AIDAN LAWSON (Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society: 141 (3 under par)
2nd: FRASER WALTERS (Blairgowrie): 146 (+2)
GIRLS:
1st: STELLA WALTERS (Blairgowrie): 154 (+10)
2nd: ANNA ZONOVA (Royal Musselburgh): 156 (+12)
GIRLS NETT:
1st: ANNA ZONOVA: 150
TEAM MATCH V MADRID GOLF FEDERATION:
After 2 days of excellent golf, comprising Foursomes and Singles, the Junior Tour won 14 - 10, in what was a very tight match (match details to follow).
GOLF SANTANDER is an outstanding golf course, and it was in excellent condition, the greens in particular were just sooooo good. The Madrid Golf Federation were 5 star hosts, and their kindness and hospitality showed no bounds, simply incredible. We can't thank them enough, and we look forward to repaying their kindness when they visit in 2026.
To the JT Players and parents, you demonstrated just how special the Junior Tour Family really is, and each and every one of you were part of a truly memorable trip. Finally, sincere thanks to Kathy, Matthew and John, my trusted Lieutenants, who were everything and more.
2025 Junior Tour Order of Merit
Our season long Order of Merits have been concluded following our event at Fraserburgh. These are the Final OOM's for this season and will determine the qualifiers for our Madrid OOM Final along with the season long OOM's we run each year for the various age groups etc.

2025 Junior Tour Order of Merit Information
Our OOM Final AND Team Match V the Madrid Golf Federation (MGF) will take place from the 14th to 21st October 2025 at GOLF SANTANDER, MADRID. There will be 16 players involved: The itinerary will be:
14/10: Arrive Madrid
15/10: Practice Round
16/10: OOM Final Day 1
17/10: OOM Final Day 2
18/10: Team Match Day 1
19/10: Team Match Day 2
20/10: Day in Madrid
21/10: Depart Madrid
ALL players who qualify for the OOM Final will also represent the JT in the Team Match.
2025 OOM QUALIFYING CRITERIA:
1. Players must play in at least 3 JT events to have a chance of qualifying
2. The last JT qualifying event will be the one at Fraserburgh on the 23rd and 24th August 2025
3. There will be 10 Girls who will qualify (1x U23, 6 x U18, and 2 Captain's picks). Our Girls Captain, ERIN HERD, will qualify automatically
4. There will be 6 Boys who will qualify (2 x U18 (born 2007 or 2008), 2 x U16 (born 2009, 2010 or 2011), and 1 Captain's pick. Our Boys Captain, AIDAN LAWSON, will qualify automatically
5. The OOM Points awarded at each event will be 150, 125, 110, 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50 and 40, and there will still be SGL Vouchers awarded to the leading scores in each of the age groups, including Girls Net, exactly the same as 2024
6. If any player who qualifies is unavailable for the trip, the 'next in line' in the respective OOM's will be selected.
7. Full details regarding flights, accommodation etc will follow in due course.
